My goal is to help you make a career change with your best resume, job interview prep, personal branding, and unstoppable confidence.

Hi, I'm Rayla!

I’ve been where you are, and I want to help you propel to the next level of your career.

In my 17 years of professional experience, I’ve successfully navigated six-figure salary negotiations, developed influential executive presence, and pivoted to new industries. I’ve experienced a mass layoff, and I’ve been promoted at three different companies.

During that time, I founded a professional development and networking organization with a membership base of over 800 professional women. Hosting monthly educational luncheons, I heard the challenges in the workplace that affect executive leaders and entry-level professionals alike.

This work is what inspired me to pursue an ICF coach training program based on the work of positive psychology.

I've found what I love to do, and I'll help you do the same.

START HERE

Graduated from college knowing little about how to get a job. I moved home to Atlanta and networked to get my first four positions.

Laid off from a global bank and move to Tampa, FL with a severance package and no plan. I networked and landed a position at an industry leader in my field.

2007

2011

2015

Moved to Nashville, TN for my fifth job out of college - the only one I landed through cold applying online - during a hiring freeze. I didn't know to negotiate my salary or ask for relocation expenses.

Founded an organization to connect, empower, and inspire women through professional development and networking opportunities. I started making the first move on Bumble.

A look back...

Married the love of my life. I graduated from an intensive 18-month coach-training program and became an ICF-Certified Executive Coach.

Developed a coaching program and beta tested job search curriculum for mid-level advancement and career change. I loved this work.

2019

2021

2023

Moved to Denver, CO to manage $600 MM in private activity bonds for the state of CO. I had a proven framework to connect with recruiters, impress in the interview, and get paid what my work is worth.

Graduated with a Master's in Human Resource Management from the University of Southern California ✌🏽!

2022

It’s an unprecedented time for job seekers. I share my proven frameworks through workshops, courses, speaking engagements, and coaching.

My Beliefs

Developing the tools you need to get a new job or promotion is an empowering ability that will allow you to navigate your career with confidence.

The job interview is equally your opportunity to interview the company.

Take as much time as you can before starting a new position and tentatively plan your breaks in advance. Your future self will thank you.

“Rayla is the missing ingredient I needed to supercharge my work and my life.”

Since working with Rayla, I have been promoted and had a couple of salary increases. I have also been recognized as a leader and advocate for causes. The firm knows I speak from my heart instead of my ego. I have been asked to represent the firm at speaking events to advocate for women and veterans. Rayla is a talented, intuitive, and empowering coach. She is a great listener and strategist. She guided me through a process to think bigger and get out of my own way. I have transferred to an amazing, fulfilling career. I am savoring the beauty of life with my fabulous husband.”
